Resetting Oil Service

To reset service
OIL message on display in speedometer, turn off ignition. Press and
hold button (A) while turning ignition on. Service OIL will be
displayed. Pull out button (B) until the letters service OIL are
cleared. The display will now show service - - -.
Audi A4, S4, A6,
S6, All Road, Cabriolet 1996-2003
To reset service oil message on
odometer display in speedometer, switch ignition to the off
position. Press and hold trip odometer reset button (B) on
instrument cluster and at same time switch ignition on. Release
button (B). Pull clock adjuster button (A) and hold until service
oil display is cleared.
Audi A4, S4 2006
To reset “SERVICE
IN” message on display, switch ignition to the off position. Press
and hold the service button, then switch on the ignition. One of the
following messages appears in the display: Service In--
-Miles----Days” or
SERVICE! Press the reset button until either of the following
messages appear in the display: ‘Service In----Miles--- Days’ or
‘SERVICE!” After about five seconds the display switches back.
Audi TT 2000-03
To
reset service interval display, switch ignition off. Press trip
odometer reset button (B) and at same time, switch on the ignition.
The central display window will show: “SERVICE IN XXXX” or
“SERVICE”. Release button. Turn clock adjuster knob (A) counter
clockwise or clockwise to reset.
