To reset OIL
REPLACEMENT REMINDER LIGHT, turn the ignition key to the OFF
position with the odometer reading shown. Turn the ignition key to
the ON position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold
down the knob until the light goes off. Before the light goes off,
it illuminates for 3 seconds, flashes for 2 seconds and illuminates
for 1 second. If the system fails to reset, the light will remain
flashing. In this case, retry the above procedure.
Lexus ES330,
1S300, RX330 2001-06
To reset OIL
REPLACEMENT REMINDER LIGHT, turn the ignition key to the OFF
position with the odometer reading shown. Turn the ignition key to
the ON position while holding down the ODO/TRIP button, hold the
button down for at least 5 seconds, and the odometer indicates
000000’ and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the
light will remain flashing. In this case, retry the above procedure.
Lexus LS430
2001-05; 2006 GS430, RX400H
To reset the data,
push the ODO/TRIP button to change the display to blank. Turn the
ignition switch off. Turn the ignition switch to ON with the trip
meter RESET button held down. Keep pushing the ‘RESET button for
longer than 5 seconds after the ignition is turned
on. After the
above operation, the master warning light comes on, a warning tone
sounds and the message, ‘MILEAGE RESET” will appear to inform you
that the engine oil maintenance data has been reset. (U.S.A. Only)
