To clear TIME FOR SERVICE from the Saab Information Display, press and hold the CLEAR button for at least 8 seconds. A signal will be heard indicating reset. After the 21st restart of the vehicle, the TIME FOR SERVICE message will be cancelled.

Saab 9-7x 2006

To reset the Engine Oil Life System use the fuel button on the Driver Information Center to reach the ENGINE OIL LIFE screen. Press and hold the select button on the DIC 5 seconds while ENGINE OIL LIFE is displayed. OIL LIFE RESET will appear on the DIC display for 10 seconds to let you know the system is reset.
