To reset Oil
Replacement Reminder light. Turn the ignition switch ON and make
sure that the LCD is the odometer display. Turn the igniton switch
OFF. While pushing the ODOiTRIP meter switching & TRIP meter reset
switch, turn the ignition switch ON. Until the resetting is
completed, the reminder light flashes and the LCD displays - - - - - The resetting is
completed when the reminder light turns OFF. Release the ODO/TRIP
meter switching & TRIP meter reset switch. After the resetting is
completed, the LCD displays 000000 for 1 second. Then, the LCD
displays the odometer.
Scion xB 2004-05
To reset Oil
Replacement Reminder light. Turn the ignition on and make sure that
the ODO/TRIP display screen is in the ODO mode. (reset procedure
will not work in the TRIP mode) Turn the ignition off. While
pressing the ODO/TRIP switch button, turn the igniton on. (Note:hold the button
down throughout the entire reset procedure) Observe the oil
replacement reminder light. The light should go on solid for 3
seconds, then blink for 2 seconds, then go on solid for 1 second,
and then go off. When the light goes off, release the ODO/TRIP
switch button.
The mode should
change to Trip A. Turn the ignition off. Turn the ignition on again
and confirm that the oil replacement reminder light goes on for 3
seconds and then goes off. This completes the reset procedure.
Scion xA, xB, TC
2006 Turn the ignition key to the OFF position with the odometer
reading shown. Turn the ignition key to the ON position while
holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down knob for at least
5 seconds. The light goes off, and the display shows zero for 1
second and changes to the odometer reading. If the system fails to
restart, the light will remain on or keep flashing. |
